| Lady Arrested for Driving Motorized Shopping Cart While Drunk! | | Yes, I live in a small town. So small in fact that one of the headline stories in today's paper reports a local arrest. Seems a lady was arrested for operating a motorized shopping cart while under the influence of alcohol when shopping inside the local WalMart. She was cited for failure of sobriety tests and not having her drivers license in possession. Wow. I did not realize one needed a drivers license to operate one of those carts. What are your thoughts on this arrest? | |
| | What kind of mower do you use? | | Do you use a push mower? people powered w/ gas? or a self propelled w/ gas? or are you a lucky duck with a riding lawn tractor? We have had a couple beater riding mowers. We've had some so-so push mowers. We have a mower now that dh bought off of one of his co-workers for a few $ and sadly it's the best one we've had thus far! | |

| Man Arrested after Driving DRUNK with motorized wheelchair! | | Ok, this is reminding me of the guys driving a lawn tractor drunk. But I don't think they ever dared to go on the freeway! That takes some nads driving something that doesn't even go what a mile per hour & traffic is usually 55-65 miles per hour. Seems a lil suicidal to me...http://www.wisn.com/news/20904713/detail.html | |

| $10 saved on a new mower belt! | | I was mowing on the lawn tractor and hit a thick, thick heavy patch of clover. Bound up the blade and snapped the new mower belt we recently bought for $26. Phooey!! Instead of running to town for another, I thought I'd take a look on ebay. Low and behold - same mower belt for $15.50 including shipping! Seller has 99.8% positive feedback and ships priority mail. For over a $10 savings, I decided I could wait 2 or 3 days to get the belt instead of running to town now. Anything you've found on ebay that was happily cheaper? What's your story? | |
